Class started and we went to our seats. Then not long class ended and I went to the cafeteria I met Haru there. She was choosing what to eat at the machine I went up to her. “Hi Haru” She replied back “Hi Akira and quickly picked what to eat then ran to the table where all her friends sat. After that I quickly picked what to eat and quickly ate it. I ran to the next class wishing I would see Futami there. She was there looking out of the window just like this morning so I walked up to her wishing for her to reply to something I said so I said “Hi Futami, my name is Akira from the same class as you, I sit right at the back of you in class, nice to meet you” She just looked at me and didn’t reply. She ran out of the class and didn’t appear when class started.

After class ended I ran out quickly out of class. I ran all around school. At last I ended up at the door leading to the rooftop. I opened the door and saw no one up there. I walked on the rooftop and then there was a sound from the back of me. I looked back I saw Futami lying down looking into the sky. Her face was pale and was breathing fast. I ran to her and asked what happened. She couldn’t speak I carried her up and quickly her to the nurse’s office. I quickly told the nurse what was going on. The nurse took out asthma inhaler and put it in her mouth. She calmed down. I ran to the bed she was in and ask her “How are you……” With a relieved tone of voice, she answered back for the first time “Thank you Akira, even though I tried to ignore you always tried to get closer to me, I have no friends so I don’t know how to talk to people” I sat next to the bed and said to her “Its fine now you can talk to me” I hugged her crying in tear that she’s fine. She blushed and the nurse came and gave her an asthma inhaler, the nurse said “Keep it with you all the time” Futami accepted it and offered to walk her home”.

I didn’t follow my routine that day I didn’t go to the shrine to feed the cat like usual but followed a different road. I walked right next to Futami she was not really fine yet so I placed my hand at her back so she can keep her balance. She asked me “Why are you so kind to me?” She started to cry and I hugged her. We walked until we reached her home when she walked up to her house door and rung the bell. She turned back at me “Thank you Akira” I answered “It’s really nothing then I’ll see you tomorrow then” I was about to walk back home. Then her mother opened the door. I introduced myself to her mother “My name is Akira I’m in the same class as your daughter” She answered “Hello Akira I never saw my daughter walked back home with anyone and I got a call from the nurse I have to really thank you how about come in for some tea” I declined the offer and quickly walked home.
